TABOR IN THE MONTH OF MARCH

TABOR IN THE MONTH OF MARCH – 2019

Within the month of March our students took part in the following activities:-

 Events:

  • Students hosted the Primary Athletics Braintree Event
  • Careers Speaker in assemblies about the railways
  • National Citizenship information Donut Stall
  • Parent Drop in took place with the Mrs Speller and Year Teams
  • Students took part in the Young Writers Competition and 219 are being published
  • Interform football has taken place at lunch times
  • Yr 10 went to a Make it Happen Careers fair about apprenticeships

We visited the following places:-

  • A group our sixth formers visited Norwich University.
  • A small group took part in the Respect Challenge
  • 7 students took part in day 2 of the Respect Challenge and won a place on the residential trip.
  • A group of students went to the Essex Book Awards
  • Yr 11 students went on a workshop to investigate what would have happened if the Spanish Armada had been successful
  • Students went on a trip to see Noughts and Crosses

The following fixtures have been played in January:

10th March year 7 boys football: Tabor 1 Alec 4

11th Year 8 boys football: Tabor 1 Ramsey 8

11th year 7 boys football: Tabor 2 Ramsey 4

18th March year 9 boys football: Tabor 5 Ramsey 1

19th March Year 11 girls football: Tabor 3 Felsted 1

28th March Year 11 girls netball tournament: HRS lost, Newport won, Notley Won and Honeywood Won. Overall 2nd place in the district.
