The year 9 boys produced a composed and efficient performance in the district football semi-final against Honywood. A tight first half saw Tabor take the lead through Billy, and while Tabor predominantly maintained control of the half, it remained 1-0 at half-time. The second half saw Honywood come out confident and they were certainly pushing for an equaliser. However, Tabor produced a clinical counter-attack after good work from Harvey, and it was Billy who added a second goal to make it 2-0. By this point, Tabor were in full control playing some very good football, and it was just reward that they made it 3-0 and Billy secured his hat-trick with a close range finish, sending the year 9s through to their third final in three seasons. An outstanding effort from all the boys involved who should be commended for their attitude.
