Stranger Sagas competition

Published writers from a Young Writers’ Stranger Sagas competition celebrated having their work published at a book reading at Tabor Academy. Parents and guests attended a reading of the works of literature.

Over 20,000 entries were submitted nationwide, over 70 of them from Tabor from which 37 of our students were chosen to be published in an anthology.

Lucas said “I was really nervous reading out on front of an audience.”

To have writing published is such a fantastic achievement for each student. We are confident this will be the start of their creativity and imaginations.

Miss Mevo said “We are so proud of these students. It is a real achievement to have their work published. However… the competition is not over just yet! The stories are now being judged nationally and we are awaiting to hear later this term if they are the overall winner…fingers crossed and watch this space…!”
