Earlier this week our students who are taking the Skillforce BTEC qualification went on their final assessment at Bentley Copse campsite, Guilford for three days. When arriving at the site the students put their tents up ready for the very warm night ahead. After dinner they all took part in a climbing wall activity and orienteering.
Day two saw them all trekking for four miles across the forest on the hottest day so far this year. This activity was designed to test and develop their map reading skills.
After a well-deserved, and very refreshing, water activity the students took part in go cart races and lasertag. Four other schools in the area took part in this residential trip and, I may be biased, but I think that the Tabor students demonstrated the best performances, and teamwork, on the trip. Well done to all who attended.
