Tabor Academy’s main aims are to provide quality learning and to promote high achievement for all students.  The school is a community of students, teachers and parents and in order to succeed in our aims it is important that each feel they belong to the school community and have a part to play.  The wearing of school uniform helps students identify with the school, increases their sense of commitment and helps to establish high standards of dress and appearance.

The information given below indicates details of the school’s uniform code.  School uniform is essentially a matter of having reasonable expectations of students coming sensibly and smartly dressed to school and remaining so during the day.  Implementation of the uniform code from day to day will remain part of the school’s discretion.  Maintaining high standards of school uniform and appearance will be a responsibility shared by students, teachers and parents.
