Over 60 students walked from tabor Academy to The Discovery Centre. Their behaviour was excellent. They walked safely and considerately to the centre and took part in all the activities. It was great to see them in action in random groups for team building activities where they were very supportive and encouraging of one another. On the high ropes they overcame some fears and helped each other face the challenges of the course.
The return walk was just the same, although it took a bit longer, but despite being tired they didn’t complain. When asked ‘what have you learned today?’ Josh replied, ‘I’ve discovered that I don’t like heights but I can overcome my fears if my friends are with me.’
