Braintree IAG Apprenticeship Event.
On the 5th March 179 of our fantastic year 10 students travelled to the Stem Centre at the College at Braintree
to attend the Braintree IAG Apprenticeship event. Over 30 employers and colleges were on hand to give advice regarding the many new Apprenticeship opportunities available in our local area. Student engagement was excellent with many companies commenting on how mature and polite Tabor students were throughout the event. Many of our sixth form students then attended the evening seminar to find out more about the opportunities to sign up to higher level apprenticeships. We are also delighted to announce a partnership with the Make Happen Project who will be hosting further events linked to higher education so watch this space!
NCS visit Tabor
On the 7th March the National Citizens Service visited Tabor to share with our year 11 students the fantastic opportunities available to them through the NCS projects. Many students have now signed up to take part in residential events in the summer. These will include opportunities to take part in outdoor pursuits including zip wires, orienteering and rock climbing. NCS also help students create CV’s and plan for their future careers. Any year 11 students wanting to get involved or parents wanting more information can follow can follow this link https://www.ncsefltrust.co.uk/
