Sports Relief Fundraising

Over the past fortnight the Tabor Academy staff and students were involved in two sporting events in order to raise money for this year’s Sport Relief. The first was the Sport Relief mile, where over 50 students ran, walked and jogged around the Tabor athletic track in order to complete the distance. Earlier in the morning students had contributed to the fund by donating to the collection buckets on the school entrance. This was followed by a staff versus student netball match, where the Year 11 students took on their teachers in a hotly contested game. In the end experience triumphed over youth and the teachers ran out winners. Both events were participated in with a great spirit, whilst raising money for a fabulous cause. Thanks to all those involved. Mr Salmon, Head of Performing Arts
